Crafted from glossy patent leather, the cut-out sandals feature an 8cm cylindrical heel, adjustable ankle strap and the Tabi split-toe shape, inspired by the traditional 15th century Japanese sock bearing the same name ?C launched for the Maison’s debut collection in 1989. It captures the avant-garde and insubordinate spirit of the Maison and exists as a heritage classic, continually explored through each collection. Maison Margiela’s signature stitch appears at the back; the opposite of a label.
